Prague's International Airport Ruzyne is the largest
of the country. Frequent flights from major European
destinations arrive at the airport on a daily basis.
The Czech flagship airline is the Czech Airlines. The
Airport is located about 20 kilometres away from the
downtown area. There are bus and taxi services to and
from the city.
By Train
Prague 's most important train station is the Hlayni
Nadraz that services the most important national and
international destinations. The local routes are usually
serviced by other smaller train stations.
By Car
The largest roads that lead to the city are the E50
that comes from Germany , and the E55 that allows drivers
to reach Prague from the north as well as from the south.
If you are planning to travel to Prague by car, you
need to purchase a ticket that allows you to use the

How
to Get Around |
By Metro
Prague 's metro system is composed of three lines and
a total of 41 stations. The lines run from 5AM until
midnight at the most important tourist attractions.
For those who are planning to get to Prague by car,
we advice you to use the paying parking garages located
near the main metro stations.
By Street Car
The street car goes to many places in the city and frequently
connects with the metro system. This means of transportation
is recommended for those who plan to stay outside until
late because there are selected lines that run even
after midnight.
By Bus
The bus operates primarily in the suburban areas. Some
of the bus lines run even at night.
